[2020] Oh, did you say less purple?

Anyone else noticing MORE purple drops than before? Getting a lot of purple from territory control and even elite territory control points today. I know the standard green loot crates are always worthless but now the blue loot crates are giving me lots of purple too.

I don’t get it. Why even have these loot crates? Elite territory control on challenging for purple? Why even bother then?
