[2020] Is there no checkpoints on the hornet mission on heroic difficulty?

I'm playing the hornet mission and I died during the final fight and instead of bringing me back to the room before the fight it brought me back to the beginning of the mission. Usually in heroic missions there's a checkpoint before the boss fight
