So two weeks ago I logged in to The Division 2 to grind some summit and was confused when the game asked me to set my brightness. Okay, well with that taken care of I was then asked if I would like to start a new game or start on the New York expansion.
Okay now I am panicking, where is my save! I did the usual, verified cache, and reinstalled the game, no joy. So I contacted Ubi support and off the bat, the first support agent was trying to tell me my save was local and corrupt. I had to school the support agent that the save was server-side before they would escalate. Now before I started the ticket I made sure it was the Division support I was going to so now I know I'm in for a ride.
Here I am two weeks later, 8 support agents later (every time someone replies it is a different agent. Talk about not taken ownership of the issue) one reply every 24 hours, if you are lucky and I am not one step closer to getting my save back.
This is not about the money spent on the game but my time invested. There is no way I'm grinding all that again. I had hundreds of hours invested. I have been playing the Division since day one and I have a feeling this is the end.
This has really got to me, as you can see this is only my second post on Reddit in 6 years.
Hopefully, folks can share their experience with Ubi support and see if this is the norm or if I am unlucky. I really feel like they couldn't give a sh*t and I am never going to get my save back.

**Update**
I have completed the advice both AbrielNei and Kestononline suggested, unfortunately, no joy.
I had my friend log into my account on his machine and he gets the same false stats and no save.
When I did a fresh reinstall of Ubisoft connect, unfortunately, again, no joy.

I have tripled-checked the details on the account and it is my one and only account. It has been secured behind 2FA for some time now, it has my username, all my games, and my billing address. It can't be any other.
