Ever since I bought this game during the $3 sale, I've been unable to matchmake. Group set to Open, looking in the Daily Missions (which must be popular), waiting for over an hour - Nobody. Nothing. I can solo a Challenging mission faster than I can find another agent go play with.

SHD sheparding is no better. There are some great people calling for backup, but most are unresponsive, afk, or kick you. I've gotten to Shepard Rank 10 and can't take it any more.

I've tried LFG servers and clans and subreddits but they're either dead, full of DZ gank squad wannabes, or doing highly specific tasks like hunter puzzles.

I want to play this game, I want to love the systems and the aesthetic and really invest in it - but I can't. This multiplayer game doesn't have a functioning multiplayer.

Hey, thanks for the report. Can you DM me your Uplay name, please? We made several changes a few weeks back and it seems to have fixed the majority of matchmaking issues. With your account info we can look into where you are getting matchmade into and so on.

Thanks for that. We will investigate if there are any general issues. From a first glance it seems that your connection to the servers always has a very high ping which might cause matchmaking issues for you.

If you are using a VPN try turning it off and if you have very strict firewall settings that might also help. While we will look further into it on our side as well it's probably best to reach out to support.ubisoft.com to go through some tech steps to reduce latency.
