Hello forum community I am a returning player to the division. I love the game even with its many faults the back story is compelling and after a hard day I just need to kill loads off NPC’s. I am not a serious gamer I just enjoy the game but as I have returned I have found myself wanting to know more, what is a god roll? Where has the Bullet King gone? how do I increase my overall stats? So I looked on this vast internet information highway to find out if there was a place where a NUBE could ask these simple questions from a like minded community.
How stupid was I, first tried a place they call a division discord flipping hell who are these people. Trying to get around the site was a nightmare with little emojis blinking at me and rules about what you can talk about and where. Then CLANS what’s that? Had a quick look, brill you can join up with other gamers to form teams that sounds great, wait a minute, I have to be interviewed by some clan leader to see if I can play with them because they are an elite clan, get over your selves.
Yesterday I was in game and was foraging in to the dark zone which I rarely do because its normally full of a***holes when I met a gamer who was a lower ranking than me (which I thought was not possible) I could see he was nervous about whether this player was going to kill him and take his loot, I wasn’t we didn’t communicate but I followed him round the DZ helping him out getting him loot and killing some of the NPCs he would have found hard to take on, the player left had a great time and helped out a player felt good.
Got a bit of loot myself and thought just this once I will try and get it out, called for an extraction and waited for the inevitable hyenas to come and loot my dead body and talk trash over me. 10 seconds to go before the rope appears and a player appears behind me announcing themselves by emptying their mag just over my left ear and they are a well higher ranked player than me, hear we go, and surprisingly their avatar clapped ? Loot on the rope and along wait to se if that’s all they were waiting for and again surprise no back stab and loots away.
My faith has been rewarded maybe they will now shepherd me through some of the tougher places in the DZ, they wave at me and gun me down without using a full mag, embarrassing the a***holes are back. Where is this whiner going with this war and peace rant I hear you ask. Well hear it is, where can a NONE serious gamer who likes playing the division go to find an answer to a very simple NUBE question like “where has the Bullet King gone from the division and be answered by a similar gamer but with more knowledge without them thinking your something they have just stepped in
