[2021] If you are experiencing a consistent crash today, read this post!!!

Trying to get this spread around for the players getting off of work.

If you are one of the many PC players experiencing a consistent CTD (crash-to-desktop) after 2-3 minutes of play with no error code, do the following:

Backup and delete the settings folder in the game's directory.

The default location for the folder is:

"%USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\Tom Clancy's The Division 2"

Backup and delete the entire folder. Then boot the game and it will create default settings, and for many players, has solved the crashing issue.
