I couldn't find much when searching online, except that you have some when you reach level 30 but here it says "Instant Unlock all Year 1 specializations" I assumed that would be when you make a new character?

External link →You won't have to make a new character! The new specializations are the Gunner, Technician, and Firewall, which are normally unlocked through challenges after hitting level 30.

Alright that's a bit more clear for me. So when I hit level 30 and complete World Tier I, then I can select one of the specializations I assume then?
Yup! You will have 6 to choose from, and the 3 you unlocked from the pass will have exclusive research that allows you to unlock some extra goodies like weapon skins :)
