This magical pillar has made a return after Thursday's maintenance, even though there was no client-side patch. It wasn't there on Wednesday, but has appeared and disappeared after earlier patches.
This is on PC, but I assume it's present on the console versions of the game too? It's appearance doesn't bode well, as I often seem to discover other geometry problems when it's present.
