Iām on PS4 - still getting the no weapon sound issue intermittently. Other things too like music not cutting in at the right time and muffled environment sounds, also intermittent. I have a wired connection and an SSHD. Are others still getting this? Very immersion breaking.
External link āHey! Is this after longer periods of time or quite immediately? We're currently working on more fixes for the audio cutting out after several hours of gameplay but they weren't ready for TU6.
If you can provide me with a little more detail (what you're doing, how long you've been playing, co-op vs solo) that'd be great. I want to make sure this is connected to the issues we're working on and not something new or something that won't be covered by the work that's currently being done.

Hey, can you guys check if the hard drive can have some impact on audio issues? I replaced the original PS4 HDD with SSD couple weeks ago and since then I had not a single audio issue while before it was happening all the time with audio cutting out, gunfire sound getting stuck and after some time all audio completely disappearing. I still have the original HDD untouched, I could switch it back and check how it works, though I'll need to update PS4 system and the game first.
Hard Drives can have an impact, yes. The speed of which files are read can help with some of the audio issues. It's why we're doing a bigger pass on how these are delivered to you while playing.
