The level of small details in this game never cease to amaze me. I first noticed the A-10 Warthog hanging in the Air and Space Museum because is my favorite air frame. Upon closer inspection I noticed that a key piece of the plane was missing, it's gun. Now, for those of you who aren't too familiar with the A-10, it's a plane that was essential built around a gun. This isn't just any gun either. The Gau-8 is a Gatling style auto cannon larger than a Volkswagen Beetle that fires 30mm Depleted Uranium Armor Piercing Incendiary rounds designed to take out tanks. I made a mental note because I did not want to be on the business end of that thing and continued the mission. It wasn't until I was playing the final mission that I noticed something familiar sitting on the steps of Capital Hill. After clearing out the True Sons I went up to check it out and sure enough they had stolen GAU-8 and mounted for defensive purposes.
It's these types of details that really show that Massive has really gone the extra mile because you could totally miss it if you weren't paying attention.
