[2021] Division 2 and new York expansion

Hey guys I bought a copy of division 2 however it's region 2. And I have a region 1 account. If I were to buy the new York expansion for division 2 through the us psn store, would it work on my region 2 division 2? I don't know what to do if it won't work..
