I'm not gonna bash Massive or anything like that in this thread. I'm simply asking an honest question. Some people say the RNG isn't an issue, but some of us have hit this wall in WT5, and there hasn't been much of a discussion on the matter.

First I want to start off by saying that I do, in fact, love the game, and I want more of it. But currently there's two things plaguing this game; random RNG and the lack of an actual end game. The first of which I'll talk about here, and the latter, you can check out another thread already currently discussing the lack of an endgame here that was posted by /u/GoodShark that I think is a good read and needs a bit more visibility.

What I would like to see, however, is a more streamlined path to complete a build and upgrade it.

I'm not asking for an optimization station. I think that's more for the end of the life cycle of the game, when they wanna fast track new players to end game.

Contrary to what you might think, players will want to play your game more if they can play with builds they like, that they can continuously upgrade on a more consistent basis, rather than once every month you might find one new piece.

Mainly, I'm just looking for more discussion on the RNG of this game from the devs, and also the community. Is it good for you, is it bad? Would a more streamlined path to completing and upgrading builds be something the community is interested in? Is this something the developers are still discussing in house?

I personally go back pretty far since upvoting can’t always be trusted. ;)

Also I can’t comment on this since I’m an artist but so you know, we read a lot of your posts.
