[2021] Support needed - purchased game via ubisoft but isnt 'registering'

Hello, as the title says I purchased the game via the ubisoft store via the latest sale it had. it's a straight to download so automatically apears in my game library. So I downloaded it via the ubisoft connect but when I opened the game it thinks im running the trial version of the game (I believe I played that last year). So after the trial time ran out I thought it would then carry on as if the trial has ended but detect ive got the full game. This hasnt happened and despite not even having the trial version installed when I open the full game I cant progress out of the main menu as it says trial time has run out. And when I click on the game in the library dropdown below overview it says 'purchase full game'
