Hi,
Since I came back to the game, say 2 months, I've been experiencing intermittent stuttering + fps drops.
Every once in a while, ghe game freezes for about 2 seconds, and then is back again. Just after the freeze, my character can't run I have to stop moving and then move again (for example if i was running, my player continues running but stays in place. I have to stop running and then run again so that I can move again. It's very annoying and has caused me to die a lot of times especially when I'm trying to dodge elite bullets.
My config is
- core i7 9700K
- rtx 2080 Ti
- 16 Gb RAM
- game is on a SSD.
I've tried every tweak I could read :
- change ingame graphic settings (I even went to low graphs)
- tweak nvidia graphic panel
- tweak vsync on/off, gsync on/off, fps max framerate or no max, change cpu priority. The only thing I haven't tried yet is change td2.exe process affinity but honestly I don't believe it will change anything.
I think all of this is due to the fact that my cpu runs constantly at 80/100% when TD2 is running.
Anyone can give me some advice please ? I think my pc setup is more than enough to run td2 at high settings.
