So I was running around with my SHD278 Hardcore guy, and in the middle of combat, just shootin the sh*t so to speak, and the game crashes. No big deal, had this happen before, and now it seems like an hourly thing, but I noticed over on my other screen with Ubi connect open that the "Play" button didn't change color so I could hit it and jump back in. Few moments later it did, booted in to find a dead HC char with time played...WTF... went to my main guy, got an alert that I had a named item awarded to my delivery box...Huh? So I'm a little PO'd that I loose the Hardcore progress to some glitch that continues to get worse, and they were making it up to me with a free award in my box? Dbl. WTF... I know HC was always risky, (and still "in Beta" lol..) and I've lost more than a few to stupid sound glitches, getting stuck on a small ledge in the middle of the road and instead of an "Out of Bounds" reset, it killed me, and other stupid sh*t. But Just a random ass crash, and poof, yer gone? Man, I've ran through probably dozens of HC guys, and sad to say , but thats gotta be the last Hardcore I do, which with it being 80% of what I play, this game is pretty dead to me now. This is getting silly, trying to play with it crashing once an hour now? No, I don't think thats going to work. Had it happen again right before I wrote this, with main guy while in the DZ, and it killed me again, left all my loot just sittin there. Didn't reset in the checkpoint with my stuff like normal. Seems that when you crash, your still in game for those moments, even though you're disconnected, till the button switches over and you can jump in again. Yep, sittin there getting shot to sh*t in a game with a TTK of a paper target. Man, every update its some new weirdness with this game. I usually don't bitch, and I've seen a lot of new glitches popping up and never say anything, but this is the straw. NPCs not talking, doors already open, super twitchy enemies, that can start to dive and back out of it like they control physics all while still shooting you, teleportation, moonwalking, sound dropping so you don't hear a heavy rushing behind you, hearing sounds for sh*t that ain't there, loot dropping where you can't access it, enemies getting stuck behind doors, enemies randomly respawning after you've killed them with no medic or drone around (no not during the Reanimated event and usually Black Tusk) The Skills, oh the skills could have their own post so I won't get in that much, but is it too much to ask to have a drone that works..eh, 75% of the time? A pulse that lights up sh*t not 25 ft away? God there's more but I can't remember it all atm, and I'm not the only one noticing all the little sh*t going wrong in this game I love, but all that, I can look past, but trying to play and having crashes at the rate we have now? Nope. To frustrating, not worth it for the reward of playing, especially if , like me, you enjoy playing HC. I have roughly 4000hrs in, and theres not much I don't have. And I like the challenge of Perma-Death. Hell, I can get through Keener in 30hrs or so now.( and that was a chore for a while, had to have Task Manager open so I could hard close the game when Keener had the "Invincibility" glitch) So, sorry for the tirade, Had to vent, good luck out there agents, maybe I'll see you just before next update, when they have sorted out all the problems from this one, and the new batch hasn't hit yet.
