[2019] Hidden Hotels and Orange Crates...

So I've seen 2 videos showing you how to find these...except the Hidden Hotels video suggests that the weapon you get at the end of it will be your best weapon in the game, mine was just a purple nothingness...and the Orange Crates are shown dishing out Dyes which they don't....
Does anyone know why and what's going on?
