I have a free standard version of The Division 2 (offered to provide screenshots and receipts or anything additionally needed) from purchasing an RX580 2/24/19, and decided since Anthem was such a bust I would reach out to Ubisoft about upgrading that free standard copy to a Gold version allowing me to start playing today.

So I'd be paying Ubisoft 40$ they wouldn't normally have gotten from me in anyway shape or form, and to my surprise they wouldn't take my money. My basically FREE money they refused to take I offered to do it in anyway that would reach the end goal and was simply told this would not be possible. This seems a bit strange to me that a company would rather not make additional money they weren't going to originally... I am hoping that this post reaches the proper eyes so maybe this is something that can be taken a look at, it seems strange to not allow "upgrades" of packages (I was informed even a normal purchase would also not be able to do this and that is absurd to me

If you contact support they can usually help you upgrade manually, even if you got the base game for free via another offer.

Thanks for your support, by the way <3

By support, or someone else? I was under the impression this would be possible. If not, let me ask around and I'll get back to you.
