I played this game over a year ago and played it heavily for about 3 months. I got to the endgame and was having fun. I just found other games that I wanted to play.

I then came back to the game and decided to create a new character, but this time I turned off the music from the get go so that my own curiosity would drive journey. No more music q's, or melodramatic music climax. No just me and my own mind. The special effects and environmental sounds in this game well makes up for the lack of music, but this time all of that rain you hike through, all of that night and day cycle you glare up for is all your own doing. You made it happen, not the music. I now pay close attention to the story and the dialog. I enjoy the game more without the music. It gives it a different perspective and immersion. Sure it won't fix the bugs or what ever is happening now, but it will help you appreciate a bit more what this game has to offer.

The Division has always had the best build up to endgame. That is something Massive have accomplished beautifully. No music, is an example of how good this game is from 0-30

Try it. just start a new agent and turn off the music.

Super interesting! I love the Div 2 soundtrack, so I never thought to turn it off. But I can definitely see how the ambiance would be amplified without it.

I know what I'll be trying tonight!
