Just bought the WONY ultimate edition on sale for Xbox and can’t decide if I should push through the main campaign, or use the boost to get to 30 and come back for DC after NY.

External link →Although biased, I'd say play through the campaign and get used to the world and gameplay. Get to know your opponents first and see what fits your play-style.
I'd also recommend playing Coney Island before adventuring to New York as it is set up as a prequel couple of missions to introduce you to the new content :)
