State of the Game - September 29th
As every week, there will be a State of the Game in the last hour of the maintenance (11:30 CET).

Summary
In this week Hamish and Yannick were joined by Fredrik Thylander and they went over the Patch Notes of Week 2. This summary just picks up the special comments they added to the patch notes, you can read the full in the separate post linked below.
General Information
1.4 Release Date
- Still just October no specific release Date
Week 2 PTS
- Will be wiped, so you will lose all your progression from week 1
- They will copy your live-character from the live-game on the PTS
- For those that don´t have level 30 character – you will be able to create a fresh level 30 character, so you can still test the PTS
The goal of week 2
- Now they want to focus on World Tier 4
- Test the new changes and how the changes effect the existing character
- The goal is to min-max your current character, as it would happen on day one when 1.4 drops
Bug Fixes for Week 2
General Changes
- Player grenade damage will now scale with the World Tier so they will do significant more damage
- The NPC shotgunners are nerfed – they have less range and they have less accuracy. So they won´t snipe you accross the room.
- Underground Checkpoints are removed – they will be reworked again.
- Player health will now regenerate to full health out of combat, you don´t need Med-Packs for that. So that is not Nomad exclusive.
Stats
- Armor Cap has changed from 60 to 70%
- Health on Kill was lowered
New Gear Set
- Banshee is the replacement of BLIND
- All BLIND pieces will be replaced with Bangee pieces
- They will look at where this set will drop, because it is basically a DZ exclusive set
- Movement speed will only be on PTS, but that won´t stay because of performance reasons
DPS Calculation
- You can´t inflate DPS by stacking accuracy – so that calculation has changed, but it will be reworked again down the road
Weapon Recalibration
- Instad of 3 new plus the old one, you get 3 additional weapon talents so 6 new talents in total
Weapon Balancing
- LMGs have been nerfed by adjusting their out of cover bonus to bring them down to the other weapons
- Accuracy no longer affects hipfiring, so that changes the behavior of each weapon differently.
- M1A is under observation so that it is not useless
- SMGs have been buffed across the board
Skills

First Aid
- Defibrilator only revives players from downed state and not dead players

Ballistic Shield
- still has a lot of bugs
- they are buffing the shield - it has more health and takes less damage from NPCs. They are also working on the threat/aggro system.
Signature Skill immunity
After you fire a signature skills – you have a 30 second immunity against that Signature skills. You can fire other Signature Skills, but not the same.
HVTs
- Are cheaper now
- The encounters scale now better to the number of players
- Daily encounters scale for players, Weekly HTVs are still scaled for groups
Loot
- In general the loot you have on PTS now will be the same on live. So that has not been buffed for testing reasons
- Gear Sets won´t drop in World Tier 1, so you can monstly get high-ends but you can still get rare Gear Sets
Named Weapons (not with this PTS Update)
- Will be available in all World Tiers
- Caduceus will probably be adjusted
- You will have to re-farm a 229 Caduceus
Open World
- When you kill the named boss it will trigger the cooldown and not when you kill all the mobs
FAQs
Changes to existing Gear at launch
- Max stats will stay max stats just toned down to the new balance
- Gear Sets will get the now bonuses
- Restored / Steady are gone
- Stable will just be added to weapons below level 30
- You keep your skill-bonus on your current gear, just adjusted to the 1.4 balance
- But you won´t get performance mod-slots on your current gear
- Weapon-Mods / Performance-Mods will be rerolled
- Scavenging is removed from items and replaced
Legacy SMGs
- Will stay the same, just get the new balance values
Why SVD nerf
- Most accurate Rifle in the game
- So that was changed, so that you can´t just stack damage mods
Burst Fire weapons
- They will get buffed
- You won´t see them on the same level as normal Assault Rifles
- But they are more intended for low health level
PTS Delta Errors and Server Queues
- They have been addressed so you won´t get them as much on the PTS
- But PTS is still a test server that has not the same architecture than the live environment.
