The issue of revive hive still exists today while loading time on PC has been fixed but it took several weeks. I don't think you never experienced it if you logged on during the bugged duration. Not to mention the 15s CD skill rest bug since release even took them quite a long time.

You're not lucky but being forgetful/forgiving.

If you don't mind, can you let me know the specifics of the revive hive issues you're experiencing?

No problem.

Scenario 1:

I was doing a raid with some strangers. The team were wiped several times while attempting Lucy and Buddy. Then I was arranged by raid leader to focus on the laptop for Lucy. It threw a seeker mine at my character's feet and it blew my char out of cover and he was killed. I saw the blue circle started to show up, but it stops at 2 arcs and I knew it wouldn't work. Interestingly, one of my nearby teammates' revive hive failed in a queue when he tried to revive my char instead. This attempt didn't succeed so we did it again and it was successful. However, my char didn't die during the last fight against Lucy and Buddy.

But wait, that was not the strangest part. My char died during the fight of the last boss and his revive hive didn't work again, nor my teammate's. Later, a player in our raid team suggested that I should make my char suicide once and then let someone revive him, so that the "curse" of my char can be removed. We did so and since reviving my char would use a revive kit, the whole raid team committed suicide all together. Afterwards, there wasn't any issue with the revive hive for my char.

Scenario 2:

Actually, I wanna ask a question before describing this case. We know that revive hive can save players even they are completely down but it there a limit that how much damage a player can take while being revived by the hive? Because sometimes, my char died completely from the crouching status in a very short time, like in less than 1-2 seconds, but the hive wasn't destroyed at all, the arcs paused at 2 like the previous case. But if the status change (from crouching to down) happened slowlier and the hive wasn't destroyed, then the reviving can be successful.

Scenario 3:

There has been a saying that a player better not to move while being revived by a hive, regardless it's theirs or their teammate's. I did witness this a few times too and yes, if the player moved quite a bit while being revived, the hive is likely to pause halfway. Nevertheless, I am not sure how much is considered as "quite a bit" but reviving a moving and crouching player is more likely to result a failure.

Btw, since you are an employer of Ubi, would you mind me ask if devs are aware of the scaling of NPCs in ODZ and NDZ?

It seems, at least for me and a bunch of players, that their damage output and ttk are reversed - NDZ mobs now feel like previous ODZ ones which are fragile and easy to kill even with weapon modifiers and normalised status. On the other hand, we feel like that mobs in ODZ are as tough as those in Heroic missions, or sometimes maybe even a bit stronger. I remember devs seemed saying that NPCs shouldn't be a thing in DZs but now ODZ is very hard for solo players - we even tried the gear we used in the raid and the encounters were pretty rough. I assume devs can simply check the status of NPCs in NDZ and ODZ without much effort?

Anyway, thanks for reading my wall of text.

Thank you for this incredibly in depth report on the revive hive :-) If there is any footage of the issues you have encountered, we'd love to have a closer look in order to investigate further!

Regarding the scaling, I'll make a note of this point and see if I can pass it on for you!
