So I don't recall how I bought D2, but I normally launch not from the Epic launcher. Some friends I play with are telling me to by the Warlords of NY expansion pack. I see in the Epic Launcher it's $30. In the UPlay launcher it shows as $9. But in UPlay it says that version will only work if you bought D2 originally through UPlay.
But I don't remember if I did. :)
Anyone have any tips or thoughts here? Thanks!
External link →If you launch the game from the Epic launcher, then that definitely would be an Epic copy of the game, which means the DLC would not work properly if you purchase it on Ubisoft Connect.
Your best bet would be to either purchase the DLC on Epic to ensure everything works
or
Purchase the WONY edition of the game on Connect for the discounted rate. If you do that, you will be able to launch the game from Connect directly and still maintain your save file, as it will be through the same Ubisoft connect account.
