I am a solo player. I don't PVP. I avoid the Dark Zone. I will match-make for missions when grind but don't chat. I only have time to play a few hours here and there but have been playing Division 2 since launch. My skill at gaming is average at best. I play solo cause I'm very uncomfortable and anxious talking to people I don't know, even online, therefore i keep my mic off. Because of this, the raid is something i will never be able to complete. And I'm sure there are others out there like me.
This means, I will never have access to the Eaglebarer, or the 2 new Exotics coming to the new Raid. And to me, this kinda sucks, as a solo player.
However, we the ability to reroll exotics coming in TU9, I think I know a way Massive could give us an alternate way to get them.
They could create a multistage challenge, like how we unlocked the new specializations, for each of the exclusive exotics to award one on completion.
To keep it fair, make the challenge only able to be done once per account and the exotic awarded would always be a low roll.
The low roll would be ok since then the solo players could grind out the exotics we do have access to in order to get the components to reroll them to get better rolls.
They could even use challenges like this for the other exotics, gear, or cosmetics. Past or future. It would give us more to do.
I know wouldn't mind grinding out some challenges to get something i couldn't get otherwise.
I would like to know what others think about this idea.
