[2019] ETA on fixing targeted loot?

I searched reddit and could not find any post asking for an ETA. Massive has a pretty generous vacation schedule and has shut down all of August and I imagine something similar for December. They broke one of the most anticipated features of TU6 with TU6.1. I would like to know if I should shelve the game until Episode 3 if no fix is planned before January/February. Edit:words
