[2021] So, is Warlords of New York only a solo DLC?

I have looked it up and apparently Warlords of New York is not multiplayer? It seems to only be a singleplayer DLC. Correct me if I'm wrong. My friend and I were going to play it together tonight but, it doesn't seem like we can play that with each other. So, is Washington D.C. the only part we can play together? Also, this is on xbox one and the series X.

Do you and your friend both have the Warlords of New York content? And have you both traveled to New York before trying to join each other?

That is correct, you will both have to have completed the first mission in NY before you can join up, but after that you should be fine. :)
