[2020] The Game keeps crashing after the update! Both in solo and Co-op

After the title update today, the game keeps crashing at random intervals. I experienced two types of crashes.

1. The game automatically goes to window mode for a second and then closes to desktop
2. The game just freezes and that's it, I have to "end task" in the task manager to come out of that mess.

before the update the game was so smooth. I hope the devs hotfix it soon! Its driving me crazy!

Has anyone experienced the same? Please let me know.
