2 days ago I ran summit to find the drop rates of summit, and now that it’s been updated, I did it again.

Same rules as last time, it’s on heroic difficulty, still searching for rifles aiming for a sample size of 300, and it was done in a 2 man team.

My journey began all over again at floor 1 with all 9 directives on again, this time I was a bit better at it so thankfully it went by faster than last time. I on the second stage of floor 81 when the final rifle dropped, and the total for this time was 173/300 which is extremely similar to last time where it was 174/300.

I continued my quest, again starting from floor 1 and this time on 0 directives. After grinding out 81 floors with 9 directives on this seemed like a cakewalk. At the cache at the end of floor 76 is where I got my final drop and the end tally was 137/300 which is scarily low compared to our last test where the tally was at 227/300.

If you are interested in how targeted loot functions, there is a very interesting post by u/Google-1234 that shows the data mined values of targeted loot drop chance: https://www.reddit.com/r/thedivision/comments/jg8b1y/datamined_targeted_loot_drop_chances_and_an/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf

Also, u/Ubi-RealDude you asked me to tag you, so here you go.

TLDR: 173/300 on 9 directive, 137/300 on 0 directive, it is unlikely that the update raised the additional drop chance from directives, but instead looks like they nerfed the drop chance with no directives.
