so there was an update about 24 / 36 hours ago for Ubisoft Connect software. i am just another agent who cannot play the game at the moment due to some bug causing the game to freeze and screen turns black after just a few minutes.

But it seems there was another update for Ubisoft Connect this morning when i fired up my PC, and im not sure if that update was ment to fix the game crashing, or something else entirely, but it didnt fix anything related to the game and it still crashes a few minutes into the gameplay. just for information if Ubi reads this.

*types of crashes i've experienced

- Screen freezes without turning black and audio is still running in the back. if i then proceed to touch any button, the screen turns black and i am unable to end the game via taskmanager and im forced to restart my pc.

- Screen goes from current fullscreen when playing the game, and shrinks down to windowed mode, and screen turns black. alltho in this case i am able to end the game via taskmanager.

- Always happens within the first 2-5 minutes


*What didnt work for me - as a possible workaround

- Validating game files

- Changing grapichs settings ( the notorious shadow and dx12 bugs on / off )

- Running the game as administrator

i hope somehow this helps the dev team and that they fix it soon!

i am currently playing through world events that i did not get to play the first time around and for each day passing now the challenges keeps stacking up and i cannot complete them, and im sure this is the case for so many others!
