Prime Resurgence arrives today, and we wanted to outline the Vaulted Relic to Aya changes to help you plan!

First, let’s explain Aya vs. Relics.

Right now, if you seek a certain Vaulted Prime Relic you’ve got designated options on where to acquire them within the Void / Bounties based on difficulty tier (i.e Lith are ‘easier’, Axi are ‘hardest’.). You’re playing nodes for their specific drop tables, which house specific Vaulted Relics. These drop tables are being adjusted for the Prime Resurgence event with by taking the Vaulted Relics from the Void and Bounties, and replacing them with Aya. With this switch comes minor drop rate changes that are overviewed below with examples. As a refresher, ‘Aya’ is a token currency that can be used to buy the exact Relics you want throughout the event of any era (Lith/Meso/Neo/Axi), meaning that you can now play a...

Prime Resurgence: Hotfix 30.9.1 

Changes:

• Disabled the Thai language from the Launcher - it’s not ready just yet!!

Fixes:

• Fixed getting stuck in indefinite loading situations when playing the game in Traditional Chinese.

• Fixed a softlock when trying to change Loadout Glyph. 

• Fixed Archwing Ascend and Aim being bound to the same button for controllers.

  • Players who did not get the paired bindings should not get them in future. If you were affected by this bug in the time between our 10:00 am deploy and this Hotfix, you will need to go to Options>Controls, click on Customize Controller menu. Reset to Defaults then save.

A Prime Resurgence is upon us…

Without question, The New War is our biggest priority for 2021 and is in full development swing. But just before The New War comes Update 30.9.0! This Update will be a Mainline for all platforms. It is largely Quality of Life and Bug fixes, with a groundwork for a Prime Vault style event that we alluded to in a prior Devstream. This will be the last Update before The New War (Emergency Hotfixes not withstanding). October is coming to a close and all eyes are on our Quest to Conquer Cancer livestream Wrap-Up! We won’t have any Devstreams in October, but we have been putting together some plans for what will be our last one before we enter the era of all things The New War!

We want to pick a date for our final pre-New War Devstream that works with our schedule and also gives you all some concrete information on what to look forward to. It’s no secret that it’s pretty challenging to run a Devstream when all our in-development content is top-secret and spoiler-heavy, so we’re trying to adjust!

Optimizations:

• Optimized some serious performance problems in certain Railjack missions.

• Optimized a modest hitch that would occur when opening the Railjack Tactical overlay.

• Optimized frame-rate while streaming to or from an Open Zone mission.

• Optimized a small hitch that would occur when jumping to Archwing or deploying a K-Drive.

• Fixed a large hitch that would occur when your Railjack took too much damage.

Fixes:

• Fixed a Host migration crash.

• Fixed cases where the final stage of the Profit-Taker fight was unreachable, thus not awarding the Bounty rewards.

This is a pattern we see exclusively in cases of severe packet loss due to internet issues... do you generally find connectivity to be an issue in the best of times? This will help us troubleshoot.
