Over the last four weeks, we’ve seen the Community come together and push back the encroaching Murmur. Their scraping shrills have since quieted, and Fibonacci’s Murmur Telemetry Chorus has linked across the Origin System, detecting unwelcomed murmuring.

With 160,217 Vigile Jahu Gargoyles deployed and now aligned, the Void Angels are warded off, and the Murmur is caged away.

There was no lack of participation contributing the Curses to activate Fibonacci’s defences. Effervo was run 18.4 million times (equaling 2.9 million playtime hours), with millions more of Curses and Grotesque Splinters being collected. To put it into a percentage, 58.7% of all Missions run in Albrecht’s Laboratories were dedicated to dusting the Fragmented Trio. 

And some brave few took up a greater fight, the shattered dust of the 60-Eye Fragmented Ones whisked away through the decrepit...

The Murmur Telemetry Chorus has been successfully connected. With it, the Krios Signa has been unlocked for 1 Grotesque Splinter. You'll have until February 15, 2024, to pick up this new cosmetic!

Remember, the event continues for Clans until January 15, 2 p.m. ET. Keep contributing Curses until then to achieve the next Trophy!

We have identified an issue where decreasing your Clan Rank during Operation: Gargoyle’s Cry can lead to Clans being unable to progress in the event. To address this issue, we are temporarily removing the ability to decrease your Clan Rank. 

This restriction will remain until the end of the Operation, and will not impact the ability to invite new Clan members while the Operation is live or increase your Clan Rank.

We’re working on a change to make Permanent Weekly Acts recoverable! With this, the intention is that Permanent Weekly Acts won’t be lost should you not finish them during a rotation, as they will act like recoverable Acts going forward so that players aren’t excluded from any Nightwave Standing. We’ll update you on the progress of this change when we have more information.

Nora's Mix Vol. 5 is live!

A few extra Nightwave Acts slipped through on this rotation, and Standing was not being awarded for the new Permanent Weekly Acts, which has now been fixed! A fuller read-up is here for those curious.

A few extra Nightwave Acts slipped through on this rotation of Nora’s Mix Vol. 5.

Next week, Nightwave will return to form with the three new permanent Weeklies replacing three of the five regular Weeklies per rotation. The intended design for the following rotations has three permanent Weekly Acts and two regular Weekly Acts, culminating in the full five Weekly Acts (plus your usual amount of Dailies and Elite Weekly Acts).

However, while the additional Acts are unintended, we’re letting it roll for the rest of this rotation! Enjoy the extra Acts! 

Also, the new Permanent Weekly Acts were not awarding any Standing, which has now been fixed.

With the Standing issue resolved, we’re working on a script to retroactively award all the lost Nightwave Standing to those who’ve finished these Acts. We will update this thread once the script has run on all platforms!
