Your Dalaran Heist Fireside Gathering

Host or attend a Fireside Gathering to sit shoulder-to-shoulder with friends and fellow adventurers as you scour the Violet Hold, traverse the lengths of the Dalaran Sewer, and claw your way through the Dalaran Bank’s mounds of gold in The Dalaran Heist, the biggest Solo Adventure Hearthstone has seen yet.

With a variety of modes and special gameplay rules available, no two runs will be the same.

Get started on The Dalaran Heist with the first wing, which will be available free on May 16. The next wing, which will be immediately accessible, can be unlocked for 700 gold or $6.99 USD—or you can get access to all five wings for $19.99 USD.

This weekend, the Spring season of the Arena World Championship (AWC) will reach its epic conclusion as the top four teams from North America and the top four teams from Europe descend on Ohio to battle it out in person on LAN. After two days, one team will stand as the AWC Spring Champions!

Season 1 is approaching its end, which means Season 2 is just around the corner! In Season 2, we are introducing several new maps and map features (Rich Vespene Geysers, Inhibitor Zone Generators, and Reduced Mineral Fields.) Due to the experimental nature of these new map features, we will be introducing three new maps instead of four to the 1v1 map pool in the upcoming season. This should help players more easily get acquainted with all the new items coming in next season.

Once the new season commences on May 21, PDT, Port Aleksander LE, Automaton LE, and Year Zero LE will be removed from the 1v1 ladder. Furthermore, Ulzaan, Black Site 2E, and Last Impact will also be removed from the Team ladder. In their place, we’re adding the following new maps to the 1v1 ladder, as well as a new selection of Team maps.

We’ve been a little silent on the Fireside Gathering front recently, but that’s because we’ve been hard at work getting it ready for a big year! If you’ve never attended one before, Fireside Gatherings are a great opportunity to get together with friends old and new to play Hearthstone.

A key focus for us in the Year of the Dragon is to communicate with you ahead of big upcoming changes. We also want to be more flexible when it comes to about making changes that we think will lead to better experiences. With the BlizzCon 2019 announcement, we wanted to give more details about the WoW esports on offer in Anaheim, California this fall. BlizzCon this year will have two days of WoW esports celebrations, with the Arena World Championship (AWC) Global Finals and Mythic Dungeon International (MDI) Global Finals sharing the World of Warcraft stage during both days of the event.

Arena World Championship (AWC) Global Finals

The AWC Global Finals will host eight teams at BlizzCon: five from North America/Europe, one from China, one from Asia-Pacific, and one from Latin America, all of whom will battle in a double-elimination bracket. In its 12^th year and with more seasonal Cups than ever before, the AWC Global Finals are sure to deliver as new and veteran players alike fight for the championship.
