It's outdated. The text file points to an older version. For compatibility issues, it is hidden. I'll update it to the next patch. The model file, however is independent of whatever patch the game is and you should be able to download it any time.

Not quite. But some things have changed, though. Starting February '23, I started working at WG as the new community manager for LATAM-Brazil (https://forum.worldofwarships.com/topic/264332-novo-cm-brasileiro/). This changes a bit my relation with the game. Moreover, I'm still plagued with hardware issues. Although my monitor is back, my GPU is unstable. It's a AMD RX580, but its performance drops with the slightest load. I do have a corporate laptop, but I rather keep these private hobbies out of it (legal stuff). As long as I don't sort that GPU issue out or upgrade into a new pc, my mod is on halt.
I do have to see if my Colbert mods is ready. This was the last one I was working in December.

Talvez alguns de vocês já me conhecem do KotS (onde eu ajudo como um dos juízes e como intérprete), do programa Superteste ou de algumas participações em lives oficiais do WoWs. Estou dando um passo a frente e vou assumir parte do trabalho do Maredraco na função de novo Gerente da Comunidade. Minha participação nos outros programas vai continuar de alguma forma, mas, agora, assumirei tarefas oficiais do jogo.

Comecei a jogar WoWs em março de 2018, depois de ver publicidade em um criador de conteúdo de Diablo III. Sempre gostei muito de jogos de computador, mas – como a maioria das pessoas – tinha que tratar como um hobby de fim de semana depois de uma semana de trabalho. Já trabalhei como professor, com logística de feiras e de shows e em banco. Entre os jogos de computador, gosto do gênero de RPG, de simulações, em especial, simulação de cidade, e jogos de grande estratégia. Contudo, foi no WoWs que encontrei espaç...

Os canhões ao qual você se refere são so do projeto Vickers, e não do projeto Armstrong. Os canhões do projeto Vickers - recusados pelo governo brasileiro e pelo britânico - acabou sendo comprado pelos espanhóis armar defesas costeiras. O modelo 15"/45 aparece em vários projetos da Vickers submetidos para apreciação do governo brasileiro. A confusão é recorrente, pois os desenhos são estudados (e apresentados) conjuntamente com os da Armstrong, facilitando a confusão. Contudo, se atentar para a legenda dos desenhos, será possível perceber que os desenhos da Armstrong apresentam o canhão 15"/42, ao passo que os da Vickers, 15"/45. Sendo o projeto da Armstrong vencedor da concorrência, os canhões a serem utilizados eram os 15"/42.

This one is my contribution to historical skins. Have a look at the section of Graphical Modifications and you will find a few other threads. I can only but recommend you have a look at USNA_76's Paint Locker and Wyvern's Historical Skin Workshop. There are a few other that might be still working despite the age.

I have to form the bundle once more and remove that extra folder. Thanks for pointing that out.

Are you positive you have unpacked into ...World_of_Warships\bin\6359964\res_mods? Double check the update version (6359964). On a quick glance, those numbers can be deceiving.

A essa altura do campeonato, já é conhecido por vários jogadores que o Nueve de Julio/Boise pertencia a uma classe que foi transferida para países da América do Sul: Brasil, Chile e Argentina. No jogo, temos o Nueve de Julio da Armada Argentina. É pouco provável que outros navios da classe Brooklyn sejam adicionados ao jogo para que cada país tenha o seu cruzador da classe Brooklyn. É aí que começa esse mod: converter o ARA Nueve de Julio no Barroso (C-11), pois visualmente eram bem parecidos. O mod chega na semana de comemoração dos 200 anos da independência do Brasil, como uma pequena contribuição para os brasileiros no jogo. Não é a única homenagem. Existe outra, bem menor, que é a alteração da aparência do Catalina PBY de guerra anti-submarina para o "Arará" da FAB.

Added the files for USS Worcester. The skin should be compatible with camouflage (name and hull numbers should stay once camo is applied).
Since last time I had a monitor failure and that has become a major problem to work with Photoshop. While I try to repair my monitor, I have been using and old TV/monitor, but colour balance is bad. I have avoided starting any new re-skinning because of that, but I guess I'll have to face the fact my skins will start to look weird. I also have been dabbling with PnFmods (model extraction) and trying to assess how much could I use this method to circumvent ships with drastically different colour patterns. I'm still uncertain it would solve all my troubles, but at least it has fructified in the form of a mod.

Most Brooklyn-class cruisers were transferred to South American countries in the early 1950's. In game, we have ex-USS Boise as ARA Nueve de Julio. Former USS Brooklyn was transferred to Chile, along with USS Nashville and USS Philadelphia, together with USS St. Louis, to Brazil.
It's unlikely that WG will ever add just another Brooklyn class cruiser to give each nation one each. ...here is where this mod starts: I have converted the model of Nueve de Julio into NRB Barroso (C-11) by removing the Argentine coat of arms on the stern of the ship. This mod arrives just in time for the celebrations of the 200 years of the Brazilian Independence. Additionally, I have also modded the skin of the ASW bomber into "Arará", Catalina PBY-5, in service of the Brazilian Air Force. Named after one of the Brazilian merchant ships sunken by German submarines, the sinking of U-199 is credited to this Catalina.

I have been working on Cold War era ships. But I haven't released them yet, as I also have been working more. I'm adding the ship name and pennant number on USN ships. But the warping of the letter in the right angle is proving to be more challenging than I expected.
