For this season of Grand Arena, we are celebrating the hard working front line troops of the Empire and First Order: the Stormtrooper. In addition to feats centered around these units, we’re also including feats based on their origins in prequel-era Clone Troopers.

Starting next week, we’ve got a brand new season of Grand Arena Championships, and with the 40th anniversary of Empire Strikes Back happening during this GAC, we thought it would be an excellent idea to theme the GAC with that movie in mind to celebrate!

It turns out that Empire Strikes Back is too big for just a single Championship as well, so this season will cover the Battle of Hoth and Luke’s training on Dagobah, leaving the other parts of ESB (bounty hunters and Bespin) for the next season. This month is 3v3 battles, so think carefully about who you set on defense and what you might expect to face.

We’ve listed the starting dates for the feats so you can better plan your defenses and gear up your teams. All dates are approximate and may not sync up to your part of the world.

A brand new theme is coming to the Grand Arena Championship starting on Monday, March 2nd, a celebration of all things Smugglers.

Smugglers have played an important part of the Star Wars saga all the way back to the cantina in A New Hope where Obi-Wan Kenobi enlisted the aid of Han Solo and Chewbacca to get to Alderaan, “No questions asked.” With that in mind here’s a few of the feats you can expect during the course of the Championship:

• I’m Putting Together a Crew - Gain Prepared 50 times in Grand Arena
• “Fast Enough for You, Old Man”, “We’re Home”, and “I Don’t Like It, I Don’t Agree with It, but I Accept It” - Three different feats involving using characters who were Pilots/Co-Pilots of the Millennium Falcon of that era (Rebellion, Resistance, and Solo)
• Three of a Kind - Field all three Millennium Falcons in a Fleet Arena battle and win
• I Never Thought I’d Be Smuggling ...

Hi Holotable Heroes!

Over the next couple updates we’re going to be adding brand new Challenge Tiers to the Assault Battles in the game. The first Assault Battles to receive these new tiers are Forest Moon and Places of Power. Each of these new tiers is tuned to be even more difficult than the Mythic Tier, and offer rewards appropriate for that difficulty.

The first tier, Challenge Tier I, recommends you to bring in characters that are Relic 3 or higher. Successful completion of the 8 waves of enemies will reward you with the following:

• 5x Injector Cell Salvage
• 5x Injector Handle Salvage
• 5x Injector Head Salvage
• 10x Mk 9 Kyrotech Battle Computer Prototype Salvage
• 10x Mk 7 Kyrotech Shock Prod Prototype Salvage
• 2x Ability Material Zeta

Note: There are no “First Time” rewards for Challenge Tiers, you will receive the normal rewards every time you are able to complete it.

I hope you all enjoyed the Resistance season of the Grand Arena Championships, because we are about to launch our next season with a new theme, the Sith!

With the major role the Sith played in Rise of Skywalker, we wanted to take an opportunity to showcase the Sith and how they have been portrayed in Galaxy of heroes. The format for this Grand Arena is 5v5 squads (no fleet zones) and on January 23rd you’ll be able to sign up for the Championship and prepare yourself to tackle the new feats created specifically for this season.

• The Puppet Master: Winning a Grand Arena battle using both versions of Sheev Palpatine in the same team.
