SEASON 1 CHALLENGE REWARD It’s time to reveal the reward for completing all Season 1 Challenges. There are four stages in total, with the final stage releasing on March 31. Complete every challenge and you get this incredible Shogun skin.

EMP EFFECT IMPROVED

• Ever tossed an EMP ‘nade at an enemy portal and thought, “I sure wish this effect was turned to 11?” Us, too! Well, our VFX artist Pavel Mazanik went into the lab and cranked this sucker right to 12. Now your portal poppin’ grenades will have a little extra pizzazz. Check it with your eyeballs.

Beta Season 1 has been a long time coming, for both us at 1047 Games and for the Splitgate community! 5 months ago, we released Beta Season 0 with Karman Station, its Battle Pass, and a few other additions like the Contamination game mode. Since then we've released multiple mid-season updates, but nothing quite like today.



New Feature Spotlight: Map Creator (BETA)

• Map Creator mode enables players to make their own custom maps in a new blank-slate level called, "Flat Earth"
  
• Place a wide variety of map geometry such as ramps, walls, floors, blocks, props, and more
  
• Place a variety of portal surfaces such as cubes, walls, ceilings, and floors

It’s an incredible day for everyone at the studio! All the progress we’ve made during the Beta was no small task, and all that work has resulted in what you’ll see in Season 0. On to the Patch Notes!



‍New Features Karman Station – A reimagining of the original map, Outpost. Karman Station replaces Outpost on our roster of Maps. Those of you who played before the Beta will recognize the similarities, but most importantly, the improvements!



Season 0 Battle Pass – The Battle Pass has 100 Levels of brand-new items, exclusive to the Pass! Included in the Pass are: New Armors, Weapon Skins, Name Tags, Banners, and a Portal Skin! Season Challenges are fully unlocked with the BP!
