Path of Exile: Necropolis will simultaneously launch on PC and Console soon! In this news post, we've gathered all the information you need to know about what happens on launch day and how to start downloading early.

The PC and Console realms will go down and patching begins at: Mar 29, 2024 12:00 PM (EDT)
The servers go live for PC and Console at: Mar 29, 2024 3:00 PM (EDT)

Last week we showcased Path of Exile 2 to content creators and journalists during the Exile Meetup event in Los Angeles. In the Necropolis League, you'll be able to earn pieces of the exclusive Mischievous Hawker Armour Set by completing 40 new challenges. At 4, 8, 12 and 16 challenges, you'll receive the Mischievous Hawker Boots, Gloves, Body Armour, and Helmet respectively.

Additional tiers of this armour set are unlocked as you complete more challenges in the Necropolis League. Completing challenges also grants you pieces of the Necropolis Totem Pole Hideout decoration!

In Ruthless, you will receive the full Mischievous Hawker Armour Set at 2 challenges, and each challenge completed after that will upgrade pieces of the set with the entire set fully upgraded once 8 challenges are completed.

Can multiple of the same Allflame Embers packs be used on the same area?
Yes.

Are Tier 17 Maps affected by your Atlas Passive Tree?
Yes.

Can you still get 8 modifier maps as an outcome when corrupting?
Yes.

Will existing Maven's Invitations in Standard league be deleted?
Yes.

Are Maven's Writs still itemised drops or will they be provided by Kirac as well?
Maven's Writs have not changed in any way and are still itemised drops.

How do collectible corpses work when playing in a party? Do all players get the corpse?
The instance owner will always get the corpse. Other players in the instance at the time the corpse drops have a 50% chance to also get it.

Could you clarify the wording of mana cost for the new Archmage? Is the ''Supported Skills have added Mana Cost equal to 5% of Unreserved Mana'' added to base mana cost and increases/reductions are applied to this cost, or is it added at the end, without a way to reduce/increase it?
It is added to the base mana cost.

Can you still get boss fragments (Shaper, Atziri) from Stacked Decks and Diviners Strongbox?
You can't get things like Eldritch Decay because Uber Elder Fragments are a boss drop, but you can get cards like Last Hope and Sambodhi's Vow because Mortal Fragments aren't exclusive to boss drops.

Does the Cartography Scarab of Corruption work with Tier 17 maps?
Tier 17 maps cannot drop Corrupted.

Private Leagues for Path of Exile: Necropolis are now available!

Those of you who are planning to play in a Private Necropolis League at launch are now able to create them beforehand. Click here to set up your Private League (don't forget to double check the start time of your league upon creating)! Please note that you won't be able to participate in these events until they officially launch on March 29th (PDT).
