We wanted to give you a few updates on Star Wars Battlefront II. As you may have seen, last week DICE began its work from home operations in order to best protect the team’s health and well-being.
The Star Wars team have now moved away from our office setup and into our homes.
Work continues on the game but the adjustment from the office environment into our homes has caused some knock-on effects to our workflows. We’re currently streamlining these processes and adapting as we move forward.
As a result of this we have decided to move the release of the Battle on Scarif Update to Mid-April. This is our new target time-frame but as the situation continues to develop, we will keep you posted on any further timing adjustments.

They could supply an entire hospital for a week? DICE employees must have some clean hands.
We're a relatively big studio. Factor in we have multiple bathrooms and showers that all have cleaning products in them. Then we have the occasional cleaning station in hallways across all floors.
Soon adds up. You'd be surprised at how much work office teams put in to keeping a studio operational. Some of the unsung heroes of game development, without them we wouldn't be able to do what we do.
Whew at least it’s short.
Any hints about content other than Scarif that we can expect in this month’s update to hold us over til the CT?

Just a quick update to let you know that we have some server maintenance occurring tomorrow morning, Wednesday March 18th. As a result of this, some downtime will be required.
We will be working to keep all downtime to a minimum, and will operate on a rolling platform basis.

We caught this minutes after we closed development of this week's patch, so couldn't quite get it in. It is fixed for the update at the end of the month.

We are planning to release a small patch this week, which will include fixes for a number of issues as well as a few requested tweaks.
Feedback around our Auto Player AI system has been met with a lot of positivity, but one of the biggest bits of feedback that we’ve received revolves around how the AI look, In this patch we will be implementing a change that will ensure all troopers and heroes are dressed in any planet-specific appearances across the Age of Rebellion planets. Alongside this, we are adding randomization of head options for Officers within Co-Op.
Rounding out the AI tweaks is the ability for Ewok Hunters Auto Players to now perform the spear melee attack.
There are a number of fixes arriving into this update, which include the visual issue where inaccurately high numbers were shown under the player damaged UI element. We know you are strong with the Force, but you are not 750,000 pieces of damage strong.

My copy is actually still coming in the mail and I have a brand new Xbox to situate as well; so I’d rather do it myself if you know what I mean.
