@StyleG24 Decisions for game modes are made based on data, not by who's yelling the loudest on social media. 😉
Not sure what's our source for this "more than 50 percent"...
@DivyanshBs1 @SymantecBS Personal invites.
@PandoPapillon I am not sure I understand. Split wasn't in rotation for the last 2 months - neither for the regular rotation, nor for PL/CL or BSC.
@MohamadImad05 We're doing this already.
@SymantecBS It's not wrong. I am not the biggest fan, but I am in a bunch of Discords and ofc our Club is organized via Discord. 😉
@SymantecBS I'm a Discord user since like... forever. lol
@Rol09_BS Currently no plan of doing this. It's a heavy feature on the development side and in BSC we're working around this via API. We might open up the API for partnered tournaments in the future. The value players at large are getting out of this vs. effort currently makes no sense.
@AyyTheJayy G.G. Mortuary isn't in competitive rotation. So not sure how this relates to this post?
We've brought back OG maps pretty much every update. Nobody from the creator group or pros have brought up Traffic Jam. 🤷♂️
@SymantecBS I am more thinking of a discussion in a separate Discord with a smaller group of people.
@xthasaurab17 👀
@Mythica40656336 Unfortunately we are limited with our options and any time would get in the way of something. Starting early Helsinki time is the best option in case something goes wrong with the maintenance so we still have time to address issues in a timeline fashion.
Last but not least: it is always harder for new maps to be accepted by the community and there's some serious bias there. When we receive feedback, it needs to be constructive and clear - else we can't do anything with.
So tell us WHY a map is meh, and not only that it is meh.
We started involving content creators and pros more in the selection of maps, but we'd like to increase this further in the future. If you are playing in BSC and you have an interest to help us figuring out which maps should be in the pool, let us know and we'll involve you.
Individual players have preferences for one map or another, i.e. the goal is not (!) to please everyone, which is pretty much impossible. The best we can hope for is a ~50% "approval" rating from people.
The 3rd map in the pool will always be there because a.) we believe it could work for competitive and b.) because we ultimately have to increase viable maps for competitive.
Moving forward we'd like 2/3 maps in PL/CL to overlap with the BSC maps. This is important both for onboarding of new competitive players and to offer BSC players a more "casual" training ground for maps outside of scrims.
This being said, in some cases the actual map pool for some modes (ex. Heist) is too small with too few viable maps for competitive so sometimes we'll skip the first step and directly go into the PL/CL phase.
In general, map are typically first "tested" in the regular rotation (TR). Once established, we move them to PL/CL for further "evaluation", i.e. to see actual pick/ban rates, first/last pick advantages, how narrow/wide the pool of viable Brawlers is.
Great hook for me to give a philosophical answer. Read more below. ⬇️

These are the maps for the next Power League rotation! What do you think? 👀 https://t.co/7O9mqkrS5P
@ThatsMeJovi No, but it's on our to-do list. All fixes are listed in above notes.
