Echo Contenders and 2018 Home/Away Skins Erroneously Made Available

With the release of Echo today, Contenders and the 2018 Home/Away skins were erroneously made available for purchase with OWL Tokens. The skins have since been disabled and are no longer available in-game.

The team is currently looking into refunding OWL Tokens used to purchase these skins. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Echo’s Localization In-Game

Our latest hero, Echo, is now live on all platforms! However, because of the current lockdowns due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we haven’t been able to finalize localization for some of her voice lines & web content. Rest assured that these will be made available in the future.

Please pardon our dust as we finish construction! Thanks for your understanding, and we hope you enjoy playing Echo in Overwatch.

Season 21 of Competitive Play is here, introducing hero pools to the Competitive playlist.

Unlocked at level 25, Competitive Play is designed for those players who want to put their skills to the test, and offers a more serious experience than our Quick Play or Arcade Modes.

GETTING STARTED

Before you can kick off your competitive career, every player will be required to complete five placement matches in a selected role to obtain their seasonal skill rating for that role. Players will earn separate skill ratings (SR) for each role in Competitive Play, for a total of three distinct SRs. In an effort to consolidate Experimental bug reports, we will ask that feedback be directed to the Bug Report category. Experimental is live on the retail environment, so we want to keep the PTR Feedback category specific to changes affecting the PTR itself.

We will be going through and moving some of these threads over to the Bug Report category to make sure the team is able to track down and sort through feedback appropriately.

Hey!

We recommend continuing to use the standard in-game report features for best results when reporting a player. If a particular replay would serve as evidence, you can feel free to include the replay code in your report.

Reporting a replay itself should primarily be used in cases of vulgarity or other inappropriate content in a custom game.
