There will be an unscheduled maintenance starting at 12:00 p.m. PDT / 21:00 GMT+2. The downtime will approximately be 30 minutes.

The following changes will be made to the 15th Anniversary event with this maintenance:

• The Cake Raid event in Elven Village will be removed along with the Fifteen NPC after issues were found with the event contributing to high server latency and NPC server crashes
• The 15th Anniversary Gift Box (x2) will be added to the L2 Store for FREE until 7/10 and can be claimed once per day per account
• We have added a 50% XP/SP server boost setting for the rest of the event period

TI has now had multiple spawns messed up spawns mostly bots won. (Was there.)
Aden, and Giran have also had messed up spawns.

As for what is being added: I really hope NCSoft actually adds something to make up for this event not going well. Especially since it's for the 15 year anniversary. Many now have missed millions of EXP, or hundreds of millions. Not to mention multiple chances at the prizes. And now all have to wait again for more information. So I do hope NCSoft does well with whatever they will add. 

Not to be a broken record but many are disappointed, because they are being driven away by things like this from a vetted publisher for MMO's.

To reduce latency across the entire server and to prevent the NPC server from crashing out.

The Cake Raid event will be removed. More details will be posted later today along with what is being added.

The message will say a winner regardless, but no reward was actually distributed.

The Talking Island Cake Raid will be temporarily disabled until latency issues can be resolved. We are working with the Dev team on this issue tonight, so we can resolve it as quickly as possible. Apologies for the inconvenience!

The Penalty was 0 XP if you were 15 levels or higher. That is what we removed.

No scenarios I tried seem to be working.

There is no change to bonus party XP, but the penalty has been temporarily removed. Normally, you do not get any XP if there is a 15 level difference. Now you can invite a level 1 character to a level 76 party...

Login server and Aden server are now back up!

NOTE: At 8:30 AM PDT, the login server will be down for a short period of time.

All Classic Servers are now up with the exception of Aden server. We are working on this server now and have a 1hr 30 minute to 2 hour ETA. Apologies for the inconvenience. At 8:30 AM PDT, the login server will be down for several minutes while we bring Aden up.

Super Runes have been added to this maintenance after receiving a new update this morning from the Dev team along with a change to the level 76 growth mission reward. Information available in original maintenance notice.
