Hi, the Twitter post was an error on my part that has already been fixed. Our resources have told us the distance from the keel to the highest point of the superstructure is 14.33 meters for Vampire, and if you're curious it's 17.48 meters for Vampire II.

There's ways to tell the difference between VPN and sharing, trust ;)

In general, it was a very small amount of people who were found guilty. I want to say less than 3 people out of the 30, so you likely don't have to worry, but definitely check your email if you were in the top 10.

Thanks for reporting this. We've notified our team to look into it.

Valid question. Multiple computers does not create an issue, but if you're playing in 5 different countries within a short time frame that does raise some eyebrows.

Hey guys, some updates.

Bot checks and manual account reviews are complete. There were a few accounts that were disqualified for account sharing, although we don't have a way to reflect this on the leaderboards. Emails to those who made the top 10 on the leaderboards including a few lucky players who moved up to replace those who were disqualified have been emailed on Friday with a request for shipping information. Please make sure you respond with "all" of the necessary information no later than the 15th otherwise you will forfeit your prizing.

Please do not upload any attachments in the prize confirmation email that was sent out as this breaks the form and we will not be able to see your answers... (or your attachments for that matter)

Our deadline to credit in-game prizing is still Feb 15th, although I'm hoping to credit them sooner.

Thanks again for playing and participating in this experimental event.

Hey guys, I'm getting a lot of personal messages about this, so I just wanted to update y'all here with the current status of prizing as I know you're getting excited about it. We're still undergoing bot checks and manual account checks. There are over 600 accounts that we are checking between NA and EU so please be patient as we do our best to ensure that each winner is eligible for the prizing.

That being said, as mention in the T&C of the event:

We will contact all players who won physical merchandise (placed in the top 10) no later than Feb 5

For all other winners, you will be automatically credited your prizing before Feb 15th

Again please keep in mind, you may be bumped up higher or bumped off the leaderboards depending on the outcome of the bot checks and manual account checks, so your current place does not guarantee your prizing, but you have nothing to worry about if you played fair and square I will ...

No. The prizes are not cumulative. The only placement that will win multiple prize brackets will be the top 3 on the leaderboards which will get the Premium ship and the shirt.

Comment

Hey guys, we're currently in the process of running bot checks and manual account reviews for all the winners. That being said we've already found some suspicious activity from some of the people who are at the top of the leaderboards which we are looking deeper into. This means it's very possible that there will be winners outside of the current top 100 in the public leaderboards as we reroll the accounts that are guilty of account sharing, botting, and other illegal game exploits.

Please give us some time as we have a lot of accounts to go through before we are able to publicly announce the winners.

I don't understand why players would share accounts, as there is no incentive for sharing accounts since there are only single prizes awarded. We will be checking for bots and illegal activities and if it comes back that we find people exploiting the event they will be disqualified from receiving prizes and the next runner up will be chosen, so it's very possible that those outside of the top 100 will still be eligible for prizes, but note that it will take some time for us to determine all the winners due to this.

That being said, I want to thank everyone for participating in this event. This was an experimental event and I know that it required a lot of hard work and dedication, and we've definitely taken some notes on how to improve these events in the future if we should run them again.

Nope. We are running bot checks on all winners, and anyone found botting will be disqualified and another winner will be chosen, so it's possible even if you aren't at the top of the leaderboards, you can still win based on re-rolls based on this and if anyone makes it to multiple leaderboards, they will only be eligible to win rewards on the highest placement in order to give more people a chance.

Sorry if this created confusion, the T-shirt you will get is based on the ship you used to compete in the event in addition to getting other US BB Premium ships.

So if you win 2nd place on the Kansas leaderboard, you'll get a Kansas T-shirt and a Premium USS Massachusetts in-game. Hope that clarifies it a bit. These t-shirts are exclusive to this event so this is the only way you will be able to obtain them.

Also thanks for being a good sport, and wishing you good luck as well!

Comment

It's not highest damage dealt for a single match, it's TOTAL damage dealt over the course of the event so that everyone has a chance instead of just making an event for unicums.

Comment

The fewer people who opt-in to the event, the more chances for others to win

Comment

All winners will be subject to bot checks, and will not be eligible for prizing if caught. Don't even think about it.

There will be 3 leaderboards, 1st place winners on either the Kansas, Vermont, or Minnesota leaderboards will win the grand prize of IX Missouri AND a T-shirt based on the ship they used to win.

This means you have 3 chances to win a Missouri, and 30 chances to win an exclusive event t-shirt.

Hope this clears it up a bit more.

Please note that CTRL alone will not remove the UI. You need to press Ctrl + J and to release the camera Ctrl + Shift + Backspace

Please see the guide I have written here and let me know if you're able to get it running, although I would wait until after this patch release since you can't review older gameplays on newer patches.
