@Ahikhe You won't need bars, but you'll always get - Whatever it cost to make the item - 1, so a platebody is 5 to make, but contributes 4 to the crucible. We're following smithing bar level requirements to add a metal into the crucible as well.

@Atlantis_OSRS Oooh, that's cool but what if it had more of a dwarven feel? We were talking about aprons as well and apparently they really suck to make.

@peepo_rs It would, but we're leaning away from traditional outfit XP boosts to do something specific for item creating, not smelting.

So we're looking at expanding on rewards for Giants' Foundry, one thing we're thinking of is a reward outfit which a Giant has uhm, borrowed from a dwarf but would look better than this, thoughts? 👀

@Hugopluks13 We've given thoughts on where we want it to sit and since this blog was written have dived deeper into rates, but things are changing a fair bit at this point as we balance so it's hard to give exact rates atm.

How different would Old School be if we didn't expose raw data to the player.
Not saying it'd necessarily be better, but how fundamentally different would the game be if you didn't have access to hard values and data.
