We really need that Observer Worlds

Is the client that observers use different from the "spectate" function that you can use on the regular client. It feels super smooth watching the broadcast as opposed to spectating a game yourself.
We use a tournament client but they have 1 to 1 the same functions like the regular client. Nothing is different just the server.
Sometimes we have different angles, we use League Director for that.
Lec observers should be on worlds this year
We ve been last year worlds worked together with the NA obs and before that China Worlds, were we Introduced saucy quick moves in our Opener when we get into game. :)Also we did these type of replays there too 2018.
Honestly all you guys behind the wheel have been doing so well for so long, this was the best camera angel Ive seen done in LoL and youre always so on point with picking up where the action is happening and all the small things such as teleport flanks and killing blue buff to get a level just before a dragon fight. Keep smurfing observers.

I genuinely believe our observer is the best in the world. The entire crew genuinely love observing and as a caster, being given additional stories that I miss while yelling a lot helps so much. <3 you obs

By doing the german cast you mean observing for it or casting it?
Also for the rest part, how did you guys get chosen? Sounds like one guys main job is video editing so that one sounds simple enough, but the rest of the applications im imagining "ok this dude has a degree in history and is diamond 3, should we ask him for an interview?"
One last question, if observing a full time job or a side gig?
I was casting LoL but way before LEC was a thing, played back than for team ALTERNATE as a Jungler with Forellenlord for 3 Years.
There was nobody with observer experience for league at the time, while casting i had to manually move the camera myself.
Afterwards LCS started to become a thing and they needed someone in Germany since our studio is in Germany. I fit perfectly into that profile therefore they offered me a Job as an Observer, which I took.
Our current core observers were chosen by me. It would take me long to go into detail how i chose them, but some traits that are important are game knowledge, communication, team player, being decisive, working under pressure.
Our OG observer who has been here since the start, was a former pro player and i think he started off by doing the german cast back then, but that stopped and he was asked if he wanted to do observing. I may be wrong so maybe he can come and clarify it haha. The rest of us applied during a time there was a need for several new observers and here we are today!

It's only a few seconds, 5 in this case, but otherwise this is correct.
nowdays we (observer LEC) are live to catch up with the pro view since Spring 2019
5 second delay was the format of last year
Give the cameramen a bonus if they managed to catch at least 95% of the ward kills. So about 48.913.772 of them.

Hey iam the main Observer for "LCS EU"
There are some good ideas here like to show Gold after every 10 minutes. I`ll find a way to post gold more often. (like i currently do after drakes, tf, recalls, barons, someone is realy ahead ect.) :)
