New here, I googled some answers that said you can make a bridge just by using wood floors. I tried this for connecting the prison island on PEI to the mainland but after 3 or so floors I can no longer place them further into the water. What am I doing wrong. Thanks

Thanks DAGADEK_KFT, seconding this! To elaborate: You can place floors to start on one end, then switch to roofs once it's too deep for floors, and back to floors on the other end.
In older versions you *could* place floors the whole way across, but this also meant it wasn't uncommon to see floors used as giant walls around towns!
