[2021] PINNED: Rules and Guidelines - Read Before Posting!

Welcome to Valheim’s forum! So I see you've found your way to the forums! Please read before posting to make the experience as best as it can be.

In this community we encourage kind, respectful and constructive behaviour. Do not troll, flame or be rude and aggressive. Be civil towards other members, communities and companies. Do not discuss or encourage illegal activities, and use the “report”-button when you see rule breaking posts instead of engaging. Use the search bar to avoid making new threads of topics that already exist. We do not tolerate personal attacks or disrespectful behaviour on this forum.

Please write your posts in English as this is an international community. Non English posts will be removed.

Rules

• Be kind, respectful and polite towards each other.
  
• Don't troll, and don't engage with trolls, report them instead.
  
• Keep posts within the proper forums, and don’t spam, advertise or post links to unrelated sites etc.
  
• Do not beg for free keys from moderators or developers.
  
• Cheats and exploits are used at your own risk.
  
• Discriminatory speech and hate speech (e.g. racism, sexism, homophobia, slurs) will not be tolerated.
  
• No discussions of piracy or other illegal activities.
  
• Feel free to post and discuss opinions, feedback and suggestions, but do so in a constructive and respectful way.
  
• Make your posts in English (with the exception for LFG-posts).
  
• Do not back seat moderate, use the report button if you see rule breaking activity.
  
• Post your opinions, comments, ideas, and thoughts in a constructive and respectful way. Duplicate threads, off-topic posts, clickbait or misleading titles, crude rants, and similar posts or threads are not allowed.
  
• Everyone must follow Steam's rules and guidelines

Moderators may enforce rules at their own discretion- finding loopholes to violate the rules will result in punishment.

Sub Forums To make it as easy as possible for moderators and us developers to distinguish questions, bug reports, and suggestions from each other, we ask that you post in the correct sub forum

General discussions: Here you can discuss your experiences with other players, ask questions about gameplay

Bugs & Technical issues: Have you run into a bug or does your game keep crashing? Report it here, it makes it much easier for us developers to find your reports. This also makes it easier for you to see if a bug has already been reported and find possible solutions.

Suggestions & Ideas: Have a cool idea for the game? Post it here! It once again makes it easier for us to find it, and it makes it easier for you to discuss with likeminded people, or see if something's already been suggested.
