I just saw a post that inspired me to write this. Valheim is amazing. It's easily one of the greatest games I've ever played--no hyperbole. At this very moment I'm renting a server for a group of us. The group? My wife and I, my sister and her husband, my brother-in-law and his wife, and two of my oldest friends who are twins. We're having an absolute blast. A server full of family and adventure.

Every day we talk about the next build and the newest conquest. I get calls from my sister who is excited for me to go check out the changes to her base.

My wife and I just finished sailing home with a haul of iron, and as I write this, she's sitting next to me, holding our 3-month old baby, tending the kilns and smelters. Giddy to do so, by the way. She loves the "put things here, put things there, move it from here to there," aspect of the game.

The post I read was talking about how this subreddit is full of negative posts. I wanted to introduce an important fact of life: No news, is Good news.

All of the countless people who are having the time of their life with this masterpiece of a game are dead quiet. They're too busy building and sailing and conquering the next biome to come on here and talk about it. Even myself. I see the odd post about Valhiem on reddit every day and never think to chime in and say, "Hey, Devs! Thank you. This game is awesome."

If any Developers read this: Thank you! Thank you for such an incredible, inspired, elegant game.

That's presumptuous. There is no indication the developers even know about this sub, let alone come to it for advice.

Pretty sure i created it 😆
