So context. I'm a Silver 2 Cypher/Viper main. And I just had a ranked match on Split,at round 3 or 4 we didn't clutch up the round and in that round our Jett so happened to not have used any of her abilities,so our Phoenix decided to immediately throw the game, very early into the match. He didn't listen to anything regardless of how kind I was to him. So we are basically in a 4v5 almost the entire match and we somehow get into Overtime,we end up in a draw and even though I got 35 kills as a CYPHER and end up being the MVP by a decent margin ,I somehow get ONE POINT for that match and I wasted more or less an hour of my time because our Phoenix was being a little bitch, that same Jett that caused that Phoenix to throw the game ironically ended up being the second best player in the game with 31 kills while Phoenix was the ONLY player in that match that didn't had 10 or more kills. I probably was the only player out of both teams that gained any points and I only got 1 point out of it, when I know for a fact that I would've EASILY gained 20+ points if I won that match. Should 9 players that are actually playing the game more or less waste 1 hour of their time to just not gain or lose any points just because one Bronze 3 Phoenix can't handle losing one round? I don't think so. Like bro a IRON 3 VIPER had more kills than him,it was THAT bad.

Performance bonuses are applied to draws, that 1 point is your performance bonus. Performance bonus is given out based on how well you perform compared to how your MMR expected you to perform in that match. If you were the highest rank, or the highest skilled player, maybe you were expected to do very well and only performed slightly better then expected.

This would be even more true if you were silver queueing with a friend/players that are lower rank. The more likely you are to be the highest MMR/Ranked player the higher you are going to have to perform(because the average MMR of the teams are probably going to be lower then your MMR since you are the highest skill player).
