[2020] Player's minimap icon needs to differentiate itself more from the others

Now bear in mind new players that are not familiar with the maps/characters, so they don't immediately know where on the map to look.

Locating yourself on the minimap takes a tiny bit of time, it's not immediately obvious which icon is yours. This needs a little improvement; played a bit of CSGO and over there it's immediately clear which one you are, there's no mistaking it, one glance at the minimap and you know who and where you are.

In here, i feel you're actually looking to find yourself on the minimap, like actually look and find which icon is yours. Now i know over time as you become more familiar with the game you get used to it, but i really feel this will help new players a lot.
