I main Call of Duty and similar arcade-style FPS games almost exclusively. However, lately I've been kind of burnt out by them and decided to give Valorent a shot (much like DrDisrespect is doing right now). My aim is pretty decent, although I constantly have to remind myself not to move while shooting in this game.
My question is, will playing Valorant improve or hurt me as a Call of Duty player? I am having fun right now, but I am a bit unsure if it's making me either a better or worse player overall. My logic is things like crosshair-placement, aim training, and decision-making which is essential in Valorant will positively translate to games such as Call of Duty once I return playing those. Am I wrong?
