Nah you don’t. Rioters choose if they want to have the Riot tag at the front of their name

Any chance you could give some insight into your thought process for the monetization of the game? What were your priorities, challenges you faced, etc. Would love to learn from a veteran!

We'll probably dive more into this later at some point. The focus now is making sure the game is fun and stable. :)

Hello! Really enjoying the game. I have a question I was considering making a thread about, but here you are!

Does the extra 20% apply to purchased valorant points only, or does it take into account the purchased valorant points AND the bonus points?

For example, if I spend $99 in the beta, I get 9500+ 1500 bonus valorant points, for a total of 11,000.

If it includes the bonus points, I expect to receive 13,200 valorant points when the game launches. However, if it only applies to the 'purchased' points, we're looking at 11,400. This is a difference of 1800 valorant points. This is significant, as that's 1-2 high tier skins.

My bad math skills tell me the valorant point bonus is ~15% at $99, ~13% at $49, ~10% at $34, ~8% at $19, ~6% at $9, and 0% at $5. If the policy only applies to purchased points, by spending more in the beta, you're in a way rewarded less(5% extra vs a full 20%).

Just trying to understand how this works so I can make educated decisions with my money. Thanks for making a great game and I look forward to seeing what else hits the shop!

It takes into account the bonus VP as well. So whatever the total VP you get and add +20% on top
