Looking at the enemy team DOES NOT cause FPS lag - Dafran states that it was just a joke for content and then tests the theory he joked about - It doesn't actually work.

You can see a clip of the end of it here: https://clips.twitch.tv/AuspiciousDreamySangMikeHogu

Or watch from the start where he talks about it here:

I'm posting this because people are starting to panic. Just a reminder, it's important to keep in mind that you shouldn't believe everything without concrete evidence.

Me reading the title of this post and watching the clip preparing a long explanation:

Koal I haven't been able to get an answer from the latam people, but at the moment there is some heavy packet loss flactuation in the latam server for people in Chile. Around 0 to 50% every single second and seems to be an issue with pretty much every ISP

No idea who I can give this info to, but maybe you can pass it so they can fix it asap. Server was working fine before they did the routing fix for Argentina, so the issue seems to come somewhere from there

Thanks for the report! We've got some really great data where we track packet loss / latency to our servers and try to track which spots are having trouble. It's going to take a bit for us to get all of the routes ironed out to start, so I think this is likely expected.

We do already have all the data we need on the back-end, so no need to worry about reporting it.

Thanks for the feedback and I was't trying to spread misinformation or anything like that. When watching the stream it looked like it legit worked. And Dafran wasn't joking, he legit thought it worked which is why he went and tested afterwards. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused

Haha yeah, no worries. Always good to try to escalate issues. Now there's a few news articles about it that are missing this context :(

Such is life
